Using data to inform international student recruitment campaigns
This IC Global Café is a critical session for anyone involved in international student recruitment and international marketing so do invite your marketing, communications and international colleagues to join.
The Café will explore the different types and sources of data that can be used to design and inform international student recruitment campaigns, including internal and external sources, quantitative and qualitative data. The speakers will share their experience using data to make campaign decisions, monitor campaigns and evaluate the success of all campaign initiatives.

Angelina Bingley, Director, UCAS Media
Angelina Bingley is currently Director of UCAS Media. Prior to that she was Chief Marketing and Engagement Officer at the University of Leicester where she was an Executive Board member responsible for setting the strategic vision for all aspects of the student recruitment journey – from initial point of contact through to enrolment – and enhancing the profile and reputation of the University across the globe. Angelina’s background is in marketing and communications and she worked for many years as a consultant in the private sector for FTSE 100 companies before moving into Higher Education. She has previously worked at UEA and the University of Southampton. Angelina is also Vice-Chair of the Universities Marketing Forum and a Global Commissioner for CASE.

Inés Teresa-Palacio has 17+ years of experience across all the advancement functions (marketing, communications, student recruitment, alumni engagement, fundraising and internationalisation) in the UK, Spain and other European countries, South Asia and Latin America. She is the Founder and Director of the global consultancy firm Via Pinnedda (www.viapinnedda.com), specialised in international marketing and communications within the global education sector and is an IC Global Fellow.
