The IC Café: Think Global, Act Local: Internationalisation at Home
This IC Café will focus on the vital role IaH plays in enhancing the student experience in higher education and how it can enhance links with local communities.
We will explore how tailored IaH approaches can demonstrate the value of internationalisation and global engagement for domestic students, staff, and local communities, fostering connections, focusing on aligning with local needs and creating local impact. We will discuss how integrating IaH into institutional strategies and curricula ensures all students have accessible and inclusive opportunities for international and intercultural experiences. We will provide practical examples and discussions on how IaH activities can help institutions advance key policy and strategic goals. In addition, we will share details of an exciting new recognition scheme being launched by The IC Global to enable UK institutions to demonstrate their commitment and engagement with IaH.
