Gain a deeper understanding of the evolving trends in EU student mobility in the UK, the UK’s attractiveness as a study destination and the state of research collaboration between the UK and EU. Erika Boak, EU Education Director, British Council
Erika Boak is the British Council EU Education Director overseeing strategic engagement in the region. Over the course of Erika’s career with the Department for Education, the UN, and others, she has demonstrated a track record of strategic leadership in international and domestic education policy. Most recently, Erika was the Head of International Strategy, Multilaterals and Union and Devolution at the UK Department for Education where she oversaw the successful Education World Forum. She managed the Fulbright scholarships programme and helped to drive forward the MRQ MoU with India. Prior to that, Erika worked internationally for 15 years including with UNICEF and UNESCO.
