The IC Collective

The IC Collective is our flagship event for senior international education professionals to learn, share and debate in an interactive, supportive and friendly environment. We secure high profile speakers and global influencers, who are experts in specific areas of internationalisation and global engagement. A diverse mix of participants are invited to bring their fresh and unique perspectives to the conversations. The content is topical and thought-provoking, of mutual interest to all attendees and designed to equip you with the tools and expertise to excel in your role. IC Collectives are also an opportunity to network with speakers and peers, enhance your professional development, discover best practice and explore the critical issues impacting the sector NOW.

The IC Collective event on international student employability was a great opportunity to connect with colleagues from across the UK and learn about innovative practice to support the employability of international graduates

Anne Marie GrahamChief Executive, UKCISA

The IC Collective was an excellent event as the thought-provoking content was laser focused on the most pressing topics we're currently facing. Not only the speakers, but every participant made a valuable contribution to the debate. I was also able to gather the views of a diverse group of people on a number of new developments and this was hugely beneficial too. All in all, it'll probably be the best event I attend this year and it was only the second week of January!

Stephen WilliamsNottingham Trent University, Director of NTU Global

The workshop style and relaxed format allowed everyone to contribute and participate in the conversation. The event, as always with The IC Global, was insightful and uplifting. As a contributor, I felt that the content was co-created in discussion with everyone in the room. It was a rewarding experience, and it was a delight to be part of it.

Janet IlievaDirector and Founder, Education Insight

A wonderful event which provided stimulating insights into a series of topics impacting international Higher Education. Excellent speakers and the perfect environment to share thoughts and ideas with colleagues from the sector.

Dörte StevensonGlobal HE Consultant, Dörte Stevenson Consulting and an IC Global Fellow

The IC Collective event held in January 2024 was one of the most useful, insightful and timely events I have attended for quite some time. Re-engaging with HEI peers from across the sector, in a supportive space created by The IC Collective, enabled a sharing of current issues in the true spirit of collegiality. Well done, IC Global.

James RichardsonDirector of Global Development and Partnerships, Sheffield Hallam University

Many thanks, IC Global team for an extremely informative and valuable in-person conference. The sessions were both engaging and timely, and resulted in lively discussion with senior peers from across other UK universities and related organisations.

Leina Shi, Director EducationBritish Council China

The opportunity to hear from others within the sector, share examples of how we are overcoming the challenges faced through innovation and agility, and just the chance to have a cuppa and take a break from meetings, has been immensely enjoyable and informative. The Tuesday morning sessions are a highlight of my week and I am sure have contributed enormously to wellbeing across the sector.
